How it works
- Tell a friend about Alyta. Share Alyta with another storage business you know.
- Let us know about the referral. Either your friend mentions your name and business when they book a demo or sign up, or you send us their details through our contact form.
- Get a month off. Once your friend has been on a paid plan for 30 days, we add a credit equal to one month of your plan to your account. It's applied to your next invoice.
Who can take part
You can refer friends if you:
- have an Alyta account on an active, paid subscription;
- are up to date with payments; and
- are complying with the Alyta Terms of Service.
A referral qualifies when your friend:
- is a new customer who has never held an Alyta account (paid or trial);
- is a different person or business from you (not a related entity, branch or existing account holder);
- names you as their referrer before or when they sign up; and
- keeps a paid subscription active for at least 30 days after any free trial ends.

Is there a limit to how many friends I can refer?
You can refer as many people as you like, and earn up to 12 months of credit in any 12-month period.
What if my friend cancels?
If they cancel before their first 30 paid days, the referral doesn't qualify. Credits already applied to your account are not affected by later cancellations.
I'm on an annual plan. How does it work?
You receive a credit worth one-twelfth of your annual base fee for each qualifying referral.

- About the program. The Alyta Refer a Friend program (the “Program”) is run by Alyta (“Alyta”, “we”, “us”). These terms apply in addition to the Alyta Terms of Service. If there is any conflict, these terms apply to the Program.
- Who can take part. The Program is open to Alyta customers with an active, paid subscription in good standing (“Referrers”). Alyta employees and contractors are not eligible.
- How to refer. A referral is recorded when the new customer (“Friend”) names the Referrer when they book a demo or sign up, or when the Referrer submits the Friend’s details through our contact form before the Friend signs up. Referrals named after sign-up are accepted at our discretion.
- Qualifying referral. A referral qualifies when the Friend has never held an Alyta account, starts a paid subscription and keeps it active and paid for at least 30 days after any free trial ends. The Friend must be a separate person or business from the Referrer, and not a related entity, subsidiary or additional location of an existing customer.
- Reward. For each qualifying referral, the Referrer receives an account credit equal to one month of the Referrer’s base subscription fee at the time the referral qualifies. For annual plans, the credit equals one-twelfth of the annual base fee. Credits do not cover add-ons, usage-based charges, hardware or third-party services.
- How credits are applied. We apply credits to the Referrer’s next invoice(s) after the referral qualifies, usually within 30 days. Credits can only be used against Alyta subscription fees.
- Limits. A Referrer can earn up to 12 months of credit in any 12-month period. Each Friend can only be referred once; if more than one Referrer names the same Friend, the first referral we receive counts.
- No cash value. Credits have no cash value, cannot be refunded, exchanged, transferred or sold, and are forfeited if the Referrer’s account is closed or cancelled before they are applied.
- Fair use. You must only refer people you know. You must not send unsolicited commercial messages in breach of the Spam Act 2003 (Cth), bid on Alyta brand terms in paid search, or misrepresent Alyta or the Program.
- Fraud and misuse. Self-referrals, duplicate or fake accounts, and any other attempt to manipulate the Program are not allowed. We may withhold, reverse or cancel credits, and suspend a Referrer from the Program, if we reasonably believe these terms have been breached.
- Other offers. Unless we say otherwise, the Program cannot be combined with other referral or partner programs. A Friend may still be eligible for standard new-customer offers.
- Changes to the Program. We may change, pause or end the Program at any time by updating these terms. Credits earned for referrals that qualified before a change will still be honoured.
- Tax. Prices and credits are shown in Australian dollars. GST applies to the subscription fee payable after the credit is applied.
- Privacy. When you send us a Friend’s details, you confirm they are happy for us to contact them. We will handle personal information of Referrers and Friends in line with the Alyta Privacy Policy.
- Your rights. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
- Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
