Fill your database a year before you open the gate.

A branded coming-soon page, live within 48 hours of the slab going down. Every enquiry it captures lands straight in Alyta — so on opening day you're converting a warm list that's already in your system, not importing a spreadsheet.

days of enquiries not landing in Alyta

That’s 39 weeks with nowhere to send enquiries. At 2 a week, that’s 78 contacts waiting in Alyta on day one.

Arithmetic, not a forecast. 2 enquiries a week — yours moves with your catchment.

Your database should be older than your building.

Most operators start marketing four weeks out, when the roller doors go on — then spend opening month chasing strangers. Start at the slab instead and Alyta is already full of people who want a unit. By the time you hand over, some of them have paid.

Copy these, swap the brackets for your suburb and dates. Every one of them points at the same page, and every reply lands in the same database.

Why it works: the hoarding is already paid for and thousands of cars pass it daily. Put a QR bottom-right at eye height, facing the traffic direction.

Why it works: a listing needs months of activity before it ranks for “storage near me”. Claiming it at T-1 is too late to matter.

We’re more than 12 months out. Too early?

Earlier is better. The Google Business Profile is the slowest-moving asset you own, and 18 months of it beats 6. Start now and the database compounds the whole way through the build.

Is this separate from Alyta?

No — that's the whole point. The $99 includes an Alyta workspace from day one, so your waitlist lives in the same database that will run the facility. Nothing to migrate at opening, and you can export to CSV whenever you want.

Who writes the copy?

We do, from a 15-minute call about your site, your unit mix and your opening date. You approve the draft before it goes live.

When can we start taking money?

As soon as you trust your handover date — usually around three months out. You email the list, switch bookings on in Alyta, and take real reservations and deposits while the fence is still up. On opening day the coming-soon page becomes your live booking site and those customers are already inside it.
